The Path to Purchase

Check-In	Check-in by Surname / Company Name Show ID (drivers licence / ID registration email) Receive Catalogue & Bidder Card Register 'Choose your own plate' options
Winning Bidder	Runner adds bidder number to tax invoice Runner gives bidder copy of the tax invoice Winning bidder takes copy of tax invoice to settlement room Bidder completes settlement process (20% deposit paid)
Settlement – Payment	Winner gives tax invoice to Settlement Staff Settlement Staff match with duplicate tax invoice Settlement Staff check bidder number on spreadsheet (by surname) Settlement Staff take payment of 20% deposit and issue tax receipt and give further information on payment terms
Settlement – RTA	Winning Bidder receives RTA information letter on how to pick up their plates Winning bidder completes RTA ‘Winner details’ form and nominates which RTA Registry they would like to pick up their plates from
Absentee Bidder at Event	Absentee bidders must pre-register 2 days before the event – Thursday 18th June Show ID (drivers licence credit card) Check-in staff give forms to Shannon’s Admin Staff Shannons to contact absentee bidder to inform of win / lose within 2 days

'Choose Your Own' Numeral only Number Plate

In a NSW first, for rare numeral only plate sales, the RTA will have 3 very special lots in this year’s auction.

Lots 16, 27 & 39 comprise the right to tell the RTA which of the available 4 or 5 digit number combinations you would like to buy. Only you and the RTA will know which plate you are bidding for. You will be bidding against other people who also want the right to "Choose their own" plate.

For Lots 16, 27 & 39 only, bidders must tell the RTA before the commencement of the auction which 4 or 5 digit combination they will be bidding for in each of the lots. This registration can be done on the night but it is preferable for bidders to check the availability of their preferred 4 or 5 digit combination(s) online at www.myplates.com.au/auction
